Have you ever kissed a giraffe?

Well, you just might have your chance when you visit the B. Bryan Preserve, located in Point Arena, California. The 110-acre preserve, opened in 2004, now plays an important role in preservation of several African animals and was recently named #6 out of the top 10 best U.S. African Safaris by USA Today.

The B. Bryan Preserve is home to large herds of Sable, Roan and Kudu antelope which are housed in large pastures that give a more naturalistic environment. The preserve is also one of the few places in the world where visitors can see all three different species of zebra. Five male Rothschild’s Giraffes also call B. Bryan Preserve home. Rothschild’s Giraffes are down to 1,000 animals in the wild, so seeing them here is a truly rare experience.

Drop-in visitors are not allowed, so plan ahead. Visits to the preserve are by reservation only for either the mid-morning or late afternoon feedings. Guests ride in vintage open-air Land Rovers to view the animals as close as safely possible and end the tour with getting to feed the giraffe.

If you are anywhere near Point Arena, YOU SHOULD VISIT! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and the animals are amazing. You might even get to kiss a giraffe just like our friend Sondra Sula did recently.

Current pricing and bookings can be found online at bbryanpreserve.com or by calling 707-882-2297.
