Still more fun to come this week -- Fireworks and Salmon BBQ in Fort Bragg on July 7th

This year the 47th Annual World’s Largest Salmon Barbecue will be held Saturday, July 7th. 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., south Noyo Harbor, $33 adult, $10 for children 12 and under. Salmon, corn on the cob, salad and garlic bread; vegetarian option and hot dogs available. Beer, wine, soft drinks, coffee. Live music by Wanderlust, Highway 1, Wayfinders, Steven Bates & Friends with host Earl Oliver.

The Salmon Restoration Association is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that is supported entirely by their sponsors, individual donations, and fundraising.

Fort Bragg Fireworks–Saturday, July 7th, 9 to 10 pm. -- over the ocean outside Noyo Bay Some great viewpoints for the Fort Bragg Fireworks! View from Noyo Headlands Park, Pomo Bluffs Park, (paved access makes this a stroller and wheelchair-friendly event). Mendocino College, American Legion parking lot, Noyo Beach, the Noyo Bridge pedestrian walkway, and other public property. South Noyo Headlands Park and Noyo Beach will close on Friday, July 6 at 10 p.m. and reopen on Saturday, July 7, at 5 p.m. Turn lanes on South Main Street and several side streets will be closed between 9:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Saturday night to alleviate traffic congestion. Watch for signs pointing the way. Enjoy the sunset over the Pacific Ocean and the wonderful fireworks show. Lots of fun!
